Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa (Hybrid) 

Job Purpose

• To source and secure new HNW individual Personal Insurance customers.
• Providing a comprehensive array of customized insurance solutions tailored to meet these customers’ needs.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Profitable Growth

• Sourcing and taking ownership of sales leads of HNW customers.
• Data mining and analyzing customer data to identify and plan new insurance opportunities. Promotes the acceptance of offerings, benefits, and rates that will suit and match the customer’s needs. Face to Face engagement with potential customers to establish insurance needs.

Customer Service Excellence, Quality, and Efficiency

• Providing a central advisory/information/query handling service point for new and existing customers.
• Ensure regular personalized communication with customers and interfaces with HNW customers to build solid trust in business relationships.

Compliance with Legislation

• Adheres to and maintains compliance in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS).
• Adhering to record-keeping requirements as outlined by FAIS and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), and National Credit Act (NCA) requirements, and in line with Protection of Personal Information (PoPI) requirements and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum qualification – Grade 12/Matric Certificate
• Full Qualification as recognized by the Registrar
• Fit and Proper as determined by FAIS legislation (Honesty, Integrity and Financial Solvency)
• Must be a Registered FSP Representative (Category 1 and Sub-Category 1.2 Personal Lines Insurance) (Sub-Category 1.6 Commercial Lines Insurance would be an advantage)
• Regulatory Exam Certificate

Experience Requirements

• Experience as determined by FAIS legislation.
• Minimum 5 years previous Insurance Portfolio / Relationship Management experience as an Account Executive / Insurance Manager managing a portfolio of HNW customers in the personal short-term insurance environment.
