Location : Donghae / Gangwon Do (beach town)
Current native teachers: 6—- 3Brits and 3 American.
Apartment our teachers all have nice 1 or 2 bedroom modern apartments.
Start date: Ideally we are looking to hire a teacher to start in early August – September. Dates can be somewhat flexible either-way.

Teaching hours: 2 – 7:20 (occasionally to 8:10) average 4-5 classes a day
Office hours : 1 – 8:10
Students: 95% elementary 5% middle
Class Size: no larger than 10
Level: preA1-B2
Class length: 50 minutes
Salary: 2.4 – 2.7 depending on experience and qualifications – first year teachers will be on the base salary but will receive a lot of support for teaching and classroom management.
Break: 30 minutes
Benefits: x5 insurances, housing, pension , settlement allowance.
Vacation : 11 days & all red days & long weekend of choice. 2nd year 15 days +
Applicants must:
* hold a degree
*have a clean criminal record
* be a native teacher from one of the 7 accepted countries for visa sponsorship.
* genuinely enjoy working and interacting with young students and comfortable teaching grades 1-6
*Genuinely care about ensuring standards are adhered to and that students have the right support.
* be able to work as a small team , but also have the initiative to work alone.
* have the personality to make classes engaging and fun.
* be organized and professional
* be responsible for extensions to our current curriculum when the need arises. Projects and presentations are the most common extensions to manage.
