Position Overview
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Office of the Ombudsman Department is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Interships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months.
Position Title: Trainee Investigator
Department: Office of the Ombudsman
Reference No / Circular: STC005/2026
Duration: 18 Months contract
Stipend: R10 104,26 pm (total cost to company)
Location: 48 Ameshoff Street ,SAPPI Building, Braamfontein
Primary Function: Support the Office of the Ombudsman in fulfilling its mandate to investigate complaints as contemplated in the Ombudsman By-Laws, 2023 and uphold transparency, fairness and integrity in municipal governance.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Law / LLB from a recognised institution;
- Relevant experience will be an added advantage;

- Excellent analytical and data analysis skills.
- Write and edit content with attention to detail.
